The Haitian Freedom Awards are presented by Team Haiti-USA and VWAZINAJ. We launched the awards to recognize outstanding individuals whose contributions have greatly benefited the Haitian cause. The awards are presented to community leaders and activists yearly. 

The first Haitian Freedom Awards Celebration occurred in 2021. Our first award recipients were honored during the celebration. We also used the event to fundraise for Team Haiti-USA programs like our Community Aid program. 2021's community aid effort benefited women who had been exposed to physical and emotional violence. Each year we will continue to honor and recognize outstanding individuals with the Haitian Freedom Awards Celebration.
